Description
Nail of sky in english. The name comes from old finnish mythology where it was believed that the northern star is a golden nail on top of the world pillar which goes from nine fathoms under ground to the sky. The pillar was connected into an underground copper mountain and sky spinned around the nail(called sampo) on top of it.(when viewed from north, it seems that all the other stars circle around the north star which stays immobile)
This is supposed to be a cover for my music demo if i someday manage to make it. Painted with acrylics and drawed on top of that afterwards with coal.

Potkii kyl kuin spitaalinen. Sopivan surrealistista menoa kaikessa naturalistisuudessaan. Tulee jotain saamelaista shamaanimenoa ja kärpässieniä mieleen. Samalla jotain pohjoisamerikan intiaanien symboleja muistuttaa. Vaikka Kalevalasta tässä onkin sitten ammennettu vaikutteita kait.
